简介

SVG p12 was established by transfecting cultured human fetal glial cells from brain material dissected from 8 to 12-week-old embryos with DNA from an ori-mutant of SV40. SVG p12 cells are susceptible to infection by JC virus and may be useful in, detecting and cultivating other human neurotropic viruses.
